TEAM_Play seeks to enhance European capabilities for modeling the environmental impacts of air transport, including noise and emissions. It aims to create a framework for integrating existing models to support policy assessments and improve decision-making.
A large set of policy issues in the field of aviation and environment is discussed in ICAO/CAEP and on European level.
Currently, the most urgent requirements are the capability of modelling noise, NOx stringencies and greenhouse gases in relation to the Kyoto protocol as well as related agreements together with their respective effects.
