This project investigates the metabolic differences between tumor endothelial cells and normal endothelial cells to identify potential targets for new cancer therapies. By analyzing metabolic pathways, it aims to develop strategies to inhibit blood vessel growth that supports tumor growth.

GOAL:
To characterize the metabolic changes, fuelling growth of tumor endothelial cells (TECs) versus normal healthy endothelial cells (NECs), and identify & validate metabolic genes, deregulated in TECs, as targets for anti-angiogenic cancer therapy.
