The TELLUR project focuses on enhancing tire performance by studying the interaction between tires and lubricated road surfaces. It aims to improve vehicle wet braking and rubber friction on ice and snow through advanced analysis and innovative technologies developed in collaboration with industry and academia.
The TELLUR project is based on a strong and balanced public-private European partnership including one large multi-national company (Goodyear, Luxembourg) and one university (Aalto, Finland).
The project aims at developing new knowledge and technologies in the field of friction between elastomers and lubricated surfaces.
