The TERA project aims to develop low-cost terahertz sources for applications in biophotonics and safety. By leveraging expertise in laser physics and material science, the project seeks to create compact devices that generate terahertz radiation for various innovative uses.
TERA proposes to perform a joint industry academia research programme capitalising on the knowledge and expertise of the partners through exchanges of researchers and transfers knowledge between research centres in Photonics and Nanoscience at the University of Dundee and SME UAB TERAVIL with expertise in different aspects of laser physics, material science and THz radiation.
