TESIFA aims to clarify the growth processes of intermediate-mass black holes by modeling tidal disruption events and gravitational-wave interactions. This research will enhance understanding of black hole demographics and prepare for upcoming astronomical observations.
In the next few years, electromagnetic and gravitational-wave facilities will uncover the elusive population of intermediate-mass black holes (IMBHs), the likely progenitors of present-day supermassive black holes.
