This research explores ancient climates to understand the Earth's system and climate models better. It focuses on the Early Eocene period, examining temperature records, hydrological cycles, and methane cycling through innovative geochemical proxies.
Human activity is fundamentally changing the chemical composition of the atmosphere and warming the Earth.
However, the impact of these changes, especially on continental precipitation patterns and biogeochemical cycles, remains poorly understood.
