The Bubble Barrier project aims to reduce plastic pollution in waterways by using a bubble screen to collect plastic waste before it reaches the ocean. This innovative solution allows for the collection of plastics without obstructing ship traffic or fish movement, making it suitable for rivers and canals.
The amount of pollution caused by harmful plastic litter is an enormous problem with global implications: every second 0.25 tons of plastic enter our oceans.
