This project explores how humans use language to reference objects and concepts. By developing a computational model that connects linguistic expressions with world knowledge, it aims to enhance our understanding of language acquisition and the cognitive processes involved in communication.
One of the most fundamental human faculties is 'reference': the capacity to 'talk about things'.
