This project aims to understand the dynamics of tropical forest and savanna transitions, focusing on the role of fire and environmental factors. By conducting field surveys and experiments, it seeks to clarify how these ecosystems respond to changing conditions and the implications for biodiversity.
The response of tropical forest –savanna transitions has received much attention in the scientific literature over the last years.
