The project seeks to establish a Transplant Immunology Research Centre of Excellence in Istanbul. It aims to enhance research capabilities in transplant immunology by connecting local expertise with leading European institutions to address health challenges in the region.
The strategic goal of TIREX is to place KU School of Medicine (KU SoM) at the forefront of Transplant Immunology Research, Development and Innovation (R&D+I) by the establishment of a Transplant Immunology Research Centre of Excellence, anchored in Istanbul.
