The TITANS project focuses on enhancing understanding and management of tritium in nuclear fission and fusion facilities. It aims to develop modeling tools, innovative measurement techniques, and a mobile device for processing tritiated water, while assessing the environmental and health impacts of tritium exposure.
The TITANS (Tritium Impact and Transfer in Advanced Nuclear reactorS) multidisciplinary project is built to contribute to Research and Innovation to “improve knowledge on tritium management in fission/fusion facilities” and provide ”robust science to EU safety regulators, radiation protection authorities and decision makers”.
