This project aims to improve organ transplantation outcomes by inducing immunological tolerance without long-term immunosuppression. It focuses on understanding innate immune responses and developing innovative imaging and nanomedicine techniques to enhance allograft survival in kidney transplants.
Transplantation is a life-saving procedure for patients who suffer from end-stage organ failure.
