The Top-SCoLDS project trains PhD students to explore complex questions about 4-dimensional spaces using diverse mathematical approaches. It brings together experts to provide comprehensive education and research opportunities in geometry and topology.
It is our natural desire to understand the structure of the space-time that we live in.
This can be described in mathematical terms as a 4-dimensional space, or ""manifold"".
