This project develops a digital atlas to analyze and visualize complex border areas, addressing the shifting nature of borders and their impact on marginalized groups. It utilizes a participative approach and topology to create maps that challenge traditional geopolitical narratives.
Contemporary borders operate in ways that are more complex than in the past.
They have been variously conceptualised as porous, shifting and solidified.
