This project explores hybrid devices combining superconductors and semiconductors to create new states of matter relevant for quantum computing. It focuses on unique two-dimensional electron gases to investigate Majorana modes and topological phenomena in novel geometries.
I will experimentally investigate hybrid superconductor/semiconductor devices for realizing novel topological states of matter, with interest both in fundamental physics and quantum computing applications.
