ViewPoint has developed ToxMate, a tool for real-time monitoring of wastewater toxicity. By analyzing the behavior of aquatic invertebrates, ToxMate provides rapid assessments of water quality, enabling timely interventions to improve wastewater treatment processes.
Urban centres, industries and agriculture produce large volumes of wastewater; in addition, the current population growth, accelerated urbanization and economic development are increasing the quantity and pollution of wastewater globally.
