This project supports the second Transport Research Arena conference in Ljubljana, aiming to align road transport research across Europe. It focuses on integrating new member states into the European research area and promoting awareness of the conference among stakeholders in the road transport sector.
In order to promote recommendations of a number of strategic documents on road transport prepared by EC and a number of professional organisations, a series of TRA (Transport Re-search Arena) conferences was established.
The second event will take place in Ljubljana, in April 2008, during the Slovenian presidency of the EU.
