TRACE-IT focuses on developing an innovative inspection system for aircraft structures that combines automated and manual techniques. This system aims to enhance maintenance efficiency and safety by providing inspectors with detailed analysis tools for structural integrity.
There is a huge industrial and innovative need for more efficient and reliable damage inspection as well as for reducing the time and cost for aircraft infrastructure maintenance and especially C and D Checks without compromising the safety of passengers and goods transported.
This reduction would increase the value for money for the European aerospace industries.
