ALTAROAD is transforming the demolition and construction industry by optimizing truck traffic and promoting recycling through its patented hardware and artificial intelligence platform. The project aims to achieve a 70% recycling rate in the industry while enhancing safety and reducing environmental impact.
The Demolition & Construction (D&C) industry waste is the largest waste stream in the EU (1/3 of all waste produced).
The D&C industry was identified as a priority waste stream by the European Union. ALTAROAD is leveraging its patented hardware and artificial intelligence platform to address the challenge of optimizing the industrial truck traffic and introducing new standards for the green D&C industry, with the aim of reaching the EU 70%-recycled-material ambition.
