TRANSION investigates the relationship between potassium channels and transcription factors, proposing that these channels play a critical role in cellular signaling and gene regulation. The project aims to uncover new mechanisms that link environmental stimuli to cellular responses.
Potassium (K+) channels are found in the majority of cells in almost every organism, where they regulate a wide variety of physiological functions in response to environmental stimuli.
