This project develops oncolytic adenoviruses that produce trastuzumab, a treatment for Her2+ cancers, directly within tumors. By modifying the virus for targeted delivery, it aims to enhance anti-tumor effects while reducing side effects compared to traditional intravenous methods.
Metastatic breast, ovarian, gastric and esophageal cancer are currently incurable and therefore require new and innovative treatment approaches.
