CIRCULAR BIOCARBON is a pioneering biorefinery that transforms organic waste into valuable products like bio-based fertilizers and bio-plastics. Operating in Spain and Italy, it aims to create a sustainable circular economy by efficiently processing municipal solid waste and developing replicable business models.
CIRCULAR BIOCARBON is a first-of-its-kind flagship biorefinery conceived to valorise organic fraction of municipal solid waste (OFMSW) into value-added products: diamond-like-carbon coatings, green graphene, tailor-made bio-based fertilisers, or bio-plastic, as well as a variety of intermediate products.
