This project investigates the mechanisms behind antibiotic resistance, focusing on how non-antibiotic drugs can influence bacterial resistance. It aims to identify potential antidotes and develop new drug combinations to combat resistance, ultimately improving treatment strategies for bacterial infections.
The evolution and spread of antibiotic resistance has become a public health concern of the utmost severity, making once treatable diseases deadly again and undermining our living standards.
