BiomimX is developing uHeart, a miniaturized model of the human heart designed to predict drug cardiotoxicity more accurately than existing in vitro models. This innovative tool aims to streamline the drug discovery process by providing a more realistic assessment of cardiac responses to new compounds.
The cost to develop new drugs is huge, mainly due to the failure rate in the drug discovery process.
