This project focuses on using ultrashort electron pulses to explore the rapid movements of atoms and electrons in materials. By advancing ultrafast spectroscopy and imaging techniques, it aims to understand reaction dynamics on atomic scales, enhancing our knowledge in fields like materials science and chemistry.
Atoms and electrons are the central building blocks of almost all materials around us.
Whenever there is a process or change, the atoms and the electrons have to move from initial to final configurations.
