This project focuses on developing ULTRANERVE, a smart biomaterial aimed at repairing peripheral nerve injuries. By simplifying medical procedures and reducing recovery times, it seeks to improve patient outcomes and alleviate the burden on healthcare systems in the EU and USA.
Peripheral Nerve Injuries (PNIs) are lesions of the nerves of the head or the extremities.
