UMBRELLA is developing a web-based decision-support tool to optimize energy efficiency in buildings. It offers tailored business models and recommendations based on user inputs, aiming to increase the adoption of energy-efficient solutions across the EU building stock.
Due to barriers that exist in when considering the sustainability of the built environment, optimising energy efficiency in buildings is often a management issue and not one of design.
