This research investigates the role of PIM kinases in regulating T cell responses. By employing quantitative proteomics, the project aims to elucidate how these kinases interact with the mTOR pathway to influence T cell division and survival, providing insights for immunotherapy.
Understanding how T cells integrate alternative signal combinations to determine immune response strength and functionality is of critical importance for rational design of immunomodulatory therapies.
