The project aims to create a comprehensive understanding of psychological impossibility by integrating philosophical theories with empirical research. It will explore how people's perceptions of choice and moral responsibility affect their psychological states and decision-making processes.
“Understanding Psychological Impossibility” (UPI) will develop the first systematic account of psychological impossibility.
To do this UPI will innovatively combine philosophical theorizing with empirical results from experimental philosophy, and the cognitive and brain sciences.
