Uplift aims to improve models of reactive transport in the vadose zone, the unsaturated area between land surface and groundwater. By focusing on pore-scale dynamics and developing new upscaled models, the project seeks to enhance predictions of nutrient cycles and contaminant movement in soil and groundwater.
