URBAN-NEXUS aims to enhance collaboration among urban stakeholders to address challenges like climate change and urban sprawl. It focuses on fostering partnerships and knowledge exchange among policymakers, researchers, and civil society to promote sustainable urban development across various thematic areas.
European cities face many significant challenges, including the current economic crisis, urban sprawl, and the longer-term implications of climate change and resource scarcity.
