This project focuses on developing a diagnostic toolbox for urinary tract infections and antimicrobial resistance in Sub-Saharan Africa. It includes a lateral flow test, a portable point-of-care instrument, and a digital health platform to improve diagnosis and treatment in healthcare settings.
Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) pose significant global health threats, characterised by high incidence and mortality.
