The V-ACCESS project focuses on advancing energy storage technologies for zero-emission water transport. It combines batteries with supercapacitors and superconductive magnetic energy storage systems to enhance shipboard power systems and improve energy management in maritime applications.
New energy storage technologies can significantly improve the performance of batteries for zero-emission waterborne transport and reduce R&D and operational costs.
