Project VALURED examines how individual differences in preferences and needs affect policy evaluation and design. It aims to create a framework that links ethical value judgments to redistribution policies, enhancing welfare analysis and informing better policy decisions.
Heterogeneity and diversity are a pervasive aspect of modern societies.
Differences in individuals’ preferences, needs, skills, and information are key to explain variation in individuals’ behavior and to anticipate individuals’ responses to policy changes.
