This project aims to develop a high-end film scanner that can digitize a wide range of historical films. By improving the optical setup and providing detailed information on film stocks, it seeks to enhance the quality and efficiency of film digitization processes.
Film archives contain large and diverse collections of historical films.
In order to exhibit and exploit these collectionscommercially, archives need to digitize their holdings.
