The VerSiLiB project aims to create a novel enzyme-free amplification method for detecting proteins and nucleic acids in small volumes. By utilizing magnetic nanoparticles and tailored plasmonic structures, it enhances the analysis of disease biomarkers, particularly in cancer management through liquid biopsy samples.
Robust detection of single molecules in complex biological fluids is the ultimate goal in the field of disease biomarker analysis.
