VERTIGO aims to revolutionize satellite communication by developing technologies for optical feeder links capable of exceeding 1 Tbps throughput. The project focuses on improving optical power generation and mitigating atmospheric impairments to enhance communication reliability.
Next-generation satellite systems will be essential to bridge the digital divide and offer high speed connectivity for all by 2025.
