This project aims to enhance public awareness of research in Iceland during an economic crisis by organizing the 2009 Researchers’ Night. It focuses on showcasing the importance of research for innovation and job creation, while encouraging young people to pursue careers in science.
Researchers play a vital role in society during these times, when Europe is undergoing one of the most serious economic recession in decades.
This is especially true for Iceland, which was one of the first countries to be hit hard by the crisis.
