This project develops a sustainable method for carbonylative couplings using sunlight and organic dyes. It focuses on using visible light to activate chemical reactions involving carbon monoxide, aiming to synthesize valuable organic compounds efficiently and continuously using microreactors.
The present proposal aims to develop a sustainable reaction methodology to expand the current scope of carbonylative couplings using sunlight and organic (metal-free) dyes.
The planned activities are at the interfaces of photophysical, organic synthetic, and technological studies.
