This project explores how narrative-based expectations influence visual processing. Using picture books, it aims to understand the impact of complex expectations on sensory processing and gaze behavior through neuroimaging and eye-tracking experiments.
Humans constantly generate expectations of what will happen in the future.
Such expectations allow us to quickly absorb incoming data.
