The VPHOP project develops a multiscale modeling technology to predict individual fracture risk in osteoporotic patients. By integrating skeletal and neuromuscular factors, it aims to enhance diagnostic accuracy and inform treatment strategies to prevent fractures effectively.
Nearly four million osteoporotic bone fractures cost the European health system more than 30 billion Euro per year.
