The Vehicle and Road Automation project aims to enhance vehicle automation to improve traffic safety and efficiency. By networking experts and stakeholders, it seeks to address deployment needs and promote collaboration in the development of automated driving technologies across Europe and beyond.
The improvement of sensors, power train control as well as communication, make possible the automation of vehicle driving.
Vehicle prototypes are currently capable of driving automatically, in road and urban environment.
