The EID WAKEUPCALL project addresses the need for improved mathematical models in financial risk management following the financial crisis. It aims to educate young researchers in advanced risk measures and develop sophisticated solutions for pricing and risk assessment in finance and insurance.
The EID WAKEUPCALL has been set up with the knowledge that, in the WAKE of the financial crisis, a reconsideration of fundamental assumptions that have been standard in the mathematical models for the valuation of financial and insurance products, like CALLs is taking place.
