This project aims to reduce operational and maintenance costs in offshore wind energy by developing advanced monitoring systems for predicting corrosion in wind turbines. It focuses on enhancing maintenance strategies and increasing energy production efficiency.
Operation & Maintenance (O&M) costs are the main cost driver in offshore energy due to the difficult accessibility to the WTs, but also due to the environmental conditions.
