WAVES explores the representation of water in contemporary literature by women writers. By analyzing texts through a material ecocritical lens, it aims to reevaluate human relationships with water and highlight the role of women in environmental narratives.
Human intimacy with water has been a distinctive feature of the Anthropocene.
