The WESTRAT project analyzes how the US, Britain, and France have adapted their security policies in response to shifting global dynamics, particularly focusing on challenges in East Asia. It aims to provide insights into international security cooperation and policy recommendations for the European Union.
The core question that this project tackles is how the three major Western military powers (the US, Britain and France) have adapted their security policies to the shifting center of strategic gravity of international politics from the Euro-Atlantic area to the Asia-Pacific.
