WETCAP aims to commercialize MUV-92, a new material for capturing carbon dioxide in humid conditions. The project focuses on scaling production and validating performance for decentralized applications, such as biogas upgrading and industrial flue gas treatment.
WETCAP builds on a recent breakthrough: the discovery of MUV-92, a pyrazolate-based ultramicroporous Metal-Organic Framework that efficiently captures CO2 even under very humid conditions, where existing sorbents typically fail.
