This project focuses on improving indoor wireless communication for smart buildings and health applications. It aims to understand interference between networks, investigate new frequency bands, and develop energy-efficient models to support the growing demand for indoor connectivity.
In cellular networks, it is estimated that 2/3 of the calls and 90% of data services take place indoors.
Smart meters are being and will be deployed across the world.
