This project investigates how employers and support systems can collaborate effectively to improve job inclusion for individuals with disabilities. By analyzing qualitative data and applying sociological and psychological frameworks, it aims to enhance employment strategies and support methods in Norway and Sweden.
The employment rate of persons with disabilities across Europe is much lower than of the general population and thedisability employment gap has remained considerable, independently of labour market policies.
Over time differentapproaches to work inclusion of persons with disabilities have been developed, where support-side approaches, especiallysupported employment methods, that are using the workplaces as instruments of inclusion, have been shown effective.
