This project investigates the process of accretion onto compact objects, focusing on how it influences galaxy growth. By refining scaling relations between X-ray binaries and active galactic nuclei, the research aims to enhance our understanding of feedback mechanisms in galaxies.
Accretion onto compact objects and the associated jets seem to be ubiquitous in our Universe and also play an important role in the regulation of the growth of galaxies.
